Craftsbury Elementary students receive music instruction once a week for forty-five minute classes. Students are provided with an opportunity to develop their own instruments, their voices, as well as to play pitched (Orff xylophones and metalophones) and unpitched percussion instruments. The joy of creating music for each other and their parents and friends is emphasized. One of the primary goals is to pass along the love of making music to the students and to the community! Students develop a sense of competence as they make music which will give them independence as young musicians.
