In Elementary School Art, we are experimenting with a variety of media. Students are using their creativity to experience the weekly art projects.

Course Information:

Elementary Art is an acquisition of skills that will enable students to communicate visually. Children are taught a variety of skills including drawing, collage techniques, painting and sculptural techniques. Children are encouraged to make connections, investigate different styles and to take risks in their work. They work individually and in groups throughout the year.

Art (Grade 8)
Elementary Art is an acquisition of skills that will enable students to communicate visually. Children are taught a variety of skills including drawing, collage techniques, painting and sculptural techniques. Each project is a focus on the individaul student including self-portraits, initial sculptures and plaster facemasks. Children are encouraged to make connections, investigate different styles and to take risks in their work. They work individually and in groups throughout the year.
