The town of Craftsbury provides a public school system for its children in
grades K-12. The Elementary School hosts 60 children in kindergarten through

Craftsbury Academy is home to the oldest continuously operated high
school in the state of Vermont. Founded in 1829, the average classroom
size is just 13 students, while a typical graduating class is 14 to 20.
The Academy educates the town's students in grades 5-12 as well as drawing
tuition students from neighboring towns.
The Craftsbury Elementary School provides a wonderful learning environment
for children in grades K-4. Each class is self-contained (same friendly
teacher all day), and the average class size is just 12 students. The

physical education and music teachers also work with the students several
times each week.
